Broadcast put Melbourne's paint points at 32 by half, 40 after three quarters

Run cost: US$1.77 at API prices (run on a Claude subscription) · + US$0.44 demo re-judging (judge re-run after the run finished)

The broadcast gave live paint-points figures, a second source for Finding 33's unchecked Chance claim of 34 paint points. At half it said Melbourne led 32-16 in the paint. After three quarters the caption reads "40 to 1220", which is garbled and probably means 40 to 20. If it is 40, Melbourne's paint total was already past 34 before the fourth quarter. That would contradict Chance's 34 as a full-game Melbourne figure, unless the 34 refers to something else. The captions are auto-generated, and the feed has no paint-points field to check them against. No second-chance-points figure (Gleeson's 17) was cited on air in the material searched.

Suggested follow-ups

Context

Do the broadcast captions in the corpus give a full-game paint-points figure or a clearer restatement of the three-quarter figure that would confirm or reject the 40 reading?

Only the corpus can settle the garbled caption, because the feed has no paint-points field. This decides whether Chance's 34 can be flagged as inconsistent.
