Live chat pulse: betting talk early, referee anger and Cotton chants late

Run cost: US$2.16 at API prices (run on a Claude subscription) · + US$0.95 demo re-judging (judge re-run after the run finished)

YouTube live chat (heavily Filipino-language, many viewers apparently betting) moved through three phases. Early (09:31-09:55Z) was quarter and total betting talk ("over second quarter?"). Mid-game (10:02-10:26Z) had scattered referee complaints and bet reactions. The loudest burst was about 11:16:26-11:17:46Z, when at least a dozen separate referee-abuse messages landed in about 80 seconds, several tying calls to Melbourne or betting ("nakapusta yung ref sa Melbourne"). From 11:14Z fans debated Cotton (Adelaide) versus Cole Anthony (Melbourne), with Cotton chants peaking at 11:23:11-13Z ("APAT NA SCREEN KAY COTTON" spammed). Final minutes (11:20-11:26Z) were score-ticker posts and a repeated "OVERTIME POSSIBLE" spam message. Betting share is not measured. Keyword searches show it is a large minority theme throughout, and chat tone is shaped by wagering, so treat it as partner and integrity-relevant context and not a clean read of general fan opinion. Fan opinions are unverified.
